Enjoy this walking tour of downtown Guntersville and highlights of the State Park. I talked with locals and took their advice on where to eat and play. During my walk of "Front" Street, I went inside a few shops, sipped on some great coffee, and had some collard greens that I rate a perfect “10” at Homecoming and Company. After exploring downtown, I went to Lake Guntersville State Park. I discovered why they call it "Alabama the Beautiful." Inside the park, see wildlife. We'll go to the top of the mountain and take in the spectacular views of the lake from the Lodge at the State Park.
