We Finally Went Dog Sledding!

We finally went dog sledding! It was a beautiful, snowy day here, and the girls were so excited to get out and run. However, we had to make a tough decision for Memphis. Because of her recent laser therapy and back issues, she couldn't pull the sled with her sisters today. Don't worry though, she got a massive "pupsicle" treat all to herself while Kira and Eleanor hit the trails! The run had some hilarious moments. Eleanor is turning into such a powerhouse puller, but Kira was trying every trick in the book to avoid doing any work! She kept trying to "dip" and run slower so the line would go slack. It was a funny dynamic to watch them work together (or not work together) in the fresh snow. After the cold adventure, we came inside to warm up with some serious baking. Jamie used to work at a pretzel shop, so he showed off his dough-twisting skills while we made homemade cinnamon rolls and soft pretzels. It was the perfect end to a winter day before finding Memphis fast asleep upside down on the couch! HIGHLIGHTS FROM OUR DAY ❄️ The girls realizing we are finally going out to play in the snow! 🧊 Memphis having to stay behind but getting a giant frozen treat. 🐕 Eleanor proving she is a total sled dog natural and powerhouse. 🤣 Kira trying to be lazy and letting her sister do all the work. 🥨 Jamie showing off his professional pretzel-twisting skills in the kitchen. 🥐 We finally redeemed ourselves and made delicious homemade cinnamon rolls. 😴 Memphis falling asleep completely upside down while we watched Stranger Things.
