The Derelict Apollo High School In Burlington Iowa: Built Over A Cemetery

*School Name Is Shared With Permission* Built on top of Smith Cemetery(the original city cemetery) in 1908 the Apollo High School was in use until 2001(a few articles below) when it was replaced and closed down. While we didn't see or here anything ghostly on our Explore of the building many over the years have(and still do) come here due to stories of paranormal activity, the owners(info below) have allowed Urban Explorers, Paranormal groups, and even some airsoft tournaments to be held there since renovation plans had to be put on hold. This Apollo was added onto a few times over it's life and is a pretty large school with 3 floors, much of the school retains at least some of it's original decor and design elements throughout and even though most of the school furnishings are gone it is well worth the time to Explore for what is left and the building itself if you get the chance. My wife Karen came with me on this exploration(and more recently too) and took off on her own path to look around so I included much of her footage and images also. We had a fun day looking through the Apollo School and hope you enjoy what we were able to share with you, due to how big the school is and all the footage from two perspectives this is part1 and part 2 will be out next week or earlier depending on how fast I can edit the footage(I'm slow at editing).
