Check out on Amazon http://amzn.to/2eRc2th The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Handheld Vacuum 33A1 is a strange little vac. It looks kind of nerdy. It’s got a unusual shape and a funny pink rubber nose. It’s kind of cute in its own way. It’s supposed to mean business however. It’s built with one thing in mind – Pet Hair. We like the overall design. It couldn’t be simpler. Basically: Dirt cup + 2 filters + motor. It’s light – 5 lbs. Has a strong 4-amp motor a generous 16′ power cord and we like the placement on the on/off switch – right on the tip of the handle. It also converts from a pet hair vac to a dry vac with a crevice tool that takes the place of the pet hair head. Overall it has a solid quality feel to it. It passed our punishment test very easily. We feel it has a major design flaw. It’s most unique feature, the interchangeable silicon head, makes this vacuum very difficult to use. For one thing, the rubbery tips that are supposed to comb out the pet hair just kind of dig into whatever you’re vacuuming. Think about it: aside from metal spike, I can’t think of anything that would be harder to slide across a carpet or upholstery. Secondly, The intake holes have problems. They are very narrow and the hair clogs them up and there are two set of them – one on the top and one on the bottom. This dilutes the amount of suction available. We didn’t even continue our test with the crevice nozzle. There didn’t seem to be a point if it doesn’t pick up what it’s designed for – pet hair.
