This tin was purchased in Disneyland during the 1970s and there is even the price sticker still on the bottom! Mickey Mouse had a nice inventory of pipe tobacco! Dunhill expanded their tobacco catalogue during the 1970s and Elizabethan Mixture was one of the new offerings hot off the press from the factory in England. It is a rich flavored blend of light and dark Virginias with a touch of Louisiana Perique for added zest! Thankfully this blend is still available today but is now being produced by the folks at Peterson. I can't express how much age has worked wonders on this heavenly blend! It really is a miracle to be able to smoke it. The sweet hay, slightly spicy and fruity plum like flavors, the aroma to keep folks near by all day long, and the time honored history of this blend... just wow! Also featured is a 1929 Dunhill 196 Patent pipe in the stunning Bruyere finish with the original Dunhill Pipe Glove. A match made in Heaven!
