This classic beauty has arrived at the workshop for a makeover and some much-needed TLC, and who better to lead the project than Iain, whose early career at a Rolls-Royce and Bentley service centre has given him a wealth of experience with these luxurious cars. Iain begins by giving us a brief history of this one-owner masterpiece. With its original Connolly leather interior now showing the signs of six decades of use, it’s time to bring it back to its former glory. The leather has seen better days, so it’s being carefully removed and entrusted to leather specialist and former Connolly employee, Steve at Leathercare. To get a better understanding of the task at hand, Iain takes a trip to Steve's workshop to hear his expert opinion on the condition of this 60-year-old leather and to learn about his meticulous restoration process.
