This spectacular long-distance hike in Scotland takes you through the breathtaking Fife Coastal Path, offering awe-inspiring views, diverse landscapes, and fascinating history. Starting in the charming village of Crail and ending in the historic town of St Andrews, this segment of the trail promises an unforgettable hiking experience for all levels of hikers. It was a lovely day but cold and windy at times. It was probably the hardest part of the route so far but also probably one of the most enjoyable. I had to climb over boulders, walk along beaches, muddy paths, up and down slippy stone steps and dodge the in-coming tide. I walked from Crail to St Andrews, 14 miles and took approx 5 hours due to the slow going of parts of the route.
