Built by the Ghorpade Marathas Shivavilas Palace is a two storeyed grand haveli. The Adarsha Community Center inside Sandur town hosts a large workspace for Lambani tribal women. We were allowed a walkthrough while they created their unique hand embroideries. The Parvati temple is 10km from Sandur. It is one of the earliest free-standing 7th or 8th century Chalukyan temples.
