N’Zoth continues to be one of the most impactful heroes in the current Battlegrounds meta, and this game is a perfect example of why. With Deathrattle strategies dominating the lobby, the flexibility offered by Fish of N’Zoth opens the door to some truly absurd builds. While many games lean toward familiar lines like Undead or classic Goldrinn setups, this one went in a much rarer direction - Silithid Burrower Beasts. The plan was clear from the start: leverage Fish of N’Zoth to copy key Deathrattles and scale Burrowers through repeated triggers, supported by Monstrous Macaw, Goldrinn, the Great Wolf, and Niuzao. On paper, everything was falling perfectly into place. The board looked unstoppable, the scaling was online, and the build had the potential to completely take over the lobby. There was just one problem. After spending an unreasonable amount of gold, rerolling endlessly, and stabilizing through multiple dangerous turns, Titus Rivendare never appeared. In a build that relies so heavily on Deathrattle multiplication, missing this single unit should have been a death sentence. To make matters worse, my final opponent did find Titus, turning what looked like a winning position into a brutal uphill battle. This episode is about adaptation under pressure. Instead of forcing an impossible outcome, I had to re-evaluate positioning, sequencing, and combat math to squeeze every possible advantage out of the board I had. The result was one of the most tense endgames I’ve played this season.
