Kashmiri Noon Tea, Pink tea or Salt tea is known for its distinctive Pink colour and subtle taste. Takes a bit of a time to brew but the tea can be stored in the refrigerator for about a week. The pretty pink colour is because of the reaction between baking soda and green tea leaves. Just a few pointers..follow these and you will always get that beautiful pink shade. 🌿 Use green tea leaves.. ideally kashmiri tea is preferred but is not readily available so the next best thing are green tea leaves. 🌿 The process of aeration is very important to get that beautiful pink colour. 🌿 The spices offer a nice flavour so please use them. 🌿 You can skip the sugar if you like but I find the salt balances the sugar beautifully. 🌿 Almond slices can be used instead of Pistachios.
