In this joint speech, Barney and Yenni present their revolutionary angle on business research and bridging the gap between theory and practice through the magic of implementation science. Barney Tan is currently the Head of School and a Professor of Information Systems and Technology Management at UNSW Business School. Graduating with a PhD in Information Systems from the National University of Singapore, Barney has had research published in multiple credible journals, and is an award-winning educator during his time at the University of Sydney. Yenni Tim is an Associate Professor in the School of Information Systems and Technology Management at UNSW Business School. She is the founder of the UNSW Practice x Implementation Science Lab and the UNSW Sandbox Program, empowering students to work with industry partners on real world challenges.
