The Sopranos character Irina Peltsin is the first girlfriend (goomar) of Tony Soprano that we meet early on in the show. She’s Russian, 24, and according to Tony, quite needy. While Tony breaks it off with Irina at the end of season two, Irina—and her cousin, Svetlana—stick around for a couple more seasons, and it’s a pretty wild ride in certain episodes, like “Whitecaps” (S4 finale), among others.
