In this tutorial I share with you the tips & tricks I use to dry my fresh flowers along with a bonus wiring technique called central internal wiring. You can use this when the stems of your dried flowers are either too short or broken giving them a longer stem that you can bend. Along with a variety of drying techniques I also share the problems we have with this new trend of artificially dyed, bleached, chemically treated & imported dried flowers. Naturally dried flowers offer us as designers with more colour than most people realise & of course once you've finished enjoying them can be returned back to the earth - the compost, just as nature intended. The artificially treated are now nothing but landfill!
