ORIGINAL RECORD DATE: March 1st, 2026. Five years ago, the long awaited release of Cyberpunk 2077 arrived to less than desirable reception. I was there for the game's release, and made an attempt at a Let's Play. One that only lasted roughly an hour and a half before I had to call it quits due to the performance & technical issues making the game practically unplayable. It's been half a decade now. With multiple large updates to the game and even a full expansion DLC. Now considered another fantastic CDPR addition to the RPG collection. I've returned to see myself through this unforgiving world, doing whatever it takes to get by. My experience with the Cyberpunk universe extends no further than the Anime (Which released a couple years after the game's launch), Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. As for the genre itself, I've enjoyed many games & visual medias that take place in such a setting, but was never actually directly interested in this type of thing myself. Until seeing the Anime anyways, and now after having started my journey in Night City proper, I've discovered just how incredible the genre can be. Even though this is common knowledge to most, don't forget that this is not only my first time playing the game but also an RPG where I'm making the choices. The same goes for gameplay. It takes a lot of time and experience to learn about the game's mechanics and ability trees. Until I find a playstyle I enjoy & wish to stick with through this initial playthrough. It's too difficult for me to fully roleplay as a particular type of person in the Cyberpunk universe when I'm not very familiar with the source material, so instead I've taken to creating and playing the lead character, V, as a vessel for myself. For the most part anyways. As with every Let's Play that I do, I tend to take my time and play far slower than the average person. So expect me to spend many hours exploring, clearing areas, and generally getting immersed. As part of my LP code, everything in my experience is recorded in its entirety. You're of course free to skip ahead if you wish, but might end up missing something in doing so, just as a fair warning. This is where I'd mock one of the dumbest comments I've ever gotten by stating this is an in depth RPG with a lot of playtime via its content, to sarcastically act like I don't do Let's Plays because apparently that's the case. NOTE: Footage for this Let's Play is recorded and uploaded raw in 1440p at 60fps around 1 hour per episode. Without a special intro or outro. NOTE 2: This Let's Play is marked as "BLIND". Which means it is my first time playing and experiencing the game. Except it to take time for me to learn the mechanics, as well as make plenty of mistakes along the way.
