The Solidarity Shift: Nursing Led Community The world is struggling, and as nurses, we can no longer wait for a hero to save our profession or our communities. We must realize that we are the ones we’ve been waiting for. Join Meg Lambrych, Sarita Warren, Cambria Nwosu, and Amie Archibald-Varley for The Solidarity Shift—a raw, unfiltered, and solution-focused roundtable. In this session, we confront the heartbreaking killing of Minneapolis ICU nurse Alex Pretti and discuss how this tragedy sits at the volatile intersection of healthcare, politics, and policy. We are shifting the gear from passive observation to active solidarity. This is a space for action, giving you the tools to support nurses in Minnesota and beyond. In this Live, we discuss: The Reality: A moment of silence and a deep dive into the impact of recent events on our community. The Barriers: Navigating safety, social media censorship, and changing digital landscapes. The Shift: Why 'Solidarity is a Verb' and how to move from 'Hero' to 'Advocate.' The Action Plan: Specific steps for mutual aid, professional protection, and community support. Whether you’re a nurse on the frontlines or an ally passionate about community care, it’s time to rise to the challenge together.
