PREACHING THE WORD OF GOD AT A SLAUGHTERHOUSE LOCKDOWN!!!

Activists block gates and chain themselves to slaughter line to disrupt slaughterhouse operations for 4 hours in an act of nonviolent civil disobedience to protest animals being tortured, killed, and sold as commodities. The Word of God says: “Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke?” (Isaiah 58:6) An animal liberation organization called DxE (Direct Action Everywhere) held a 48 hour vigil for the 5,000 pigs slaughtered each day at Farmer John Slaughterhouse in Los Angeles. After a series of short speeches, including the one I delivered and recorded in this video, 20 activists chained themselves to each other and sat down in front of the gate, blocking the truckloads of pigs from being able to enter the slaughterhouse. Two more activists climbed to the roof of the building to drop a “right to rescue” banner. Another team of activists entered the facility and chained themselves to the kill line, causing operations to completely stop until the police and fire department arrived to cut their chains and arrest them. Operations were disrupted for a total of 4 hours, and 28 activists were arrested.
