When we found out Ponky was to leave on the 6th, Myla said we could do it; we could go for a record turn-around time and release the episode before he left. And check it out, we did it! Statoose's note: That will be an experience to remember. Yesterday, I woke up, took a shower, had a quick breakfast, read some fanfics for about half an hour, then edited from roughly 2:00PM to 1:45AM, only coming to a full stop twice -- once to take a quick 40-minute walk, and again to eat dinner. And I must say, I'm very proud. Hope you are too, Ponkster. :) (Looking back at this chapter: GODDAMNIT WHY WAS THE BASS LEVEL OF MY VOICE SO HIGH? AUHGUAHUAHGUH) Side note: Are there any Mass Effect players in the audience? Yes? No? Maybe? Okay, all one of you, listen to Myla's Lyra voice and imagine Liara T'soni speaking. It's freaky. Myla's note: I think the biggest things for this chapter were my depiction of Lyra and - as always - my Rainbow Dash. I'm not fond of my RD, mostly because she's such a tough character to match sound-wise. I tried my best, and hope it turns out ok. Lyra also was a fairly big hurdle, since the BP version is kind of iconic (at least to its fans) and she may not sound like she does in the readers' heads. If it makes you feel any better, this isn't entirely how she sounds in my head either. I do LOVE the cameo that Ponky put in though, and I love that it moves the story along instead of just being a *winkwinknudgenudgelookiemereferencingstuff*.
