Urban Transit Adventure: Montreal 2023

Over the course of three days, I was in Montreal to discover more about the city. I previously even worked there, but this is secondary. The transit systems of this magnificent island has been on tires since it's beginnings. Inspired from the MP59, Montreal adapted the Metro sur pneu from Paris to it's own needs as the MR 63 and built a network on a smaller scale, which serves the island and Laval and Longueuil. The stations were brutalists as possible. The MR73 came after the 63 and carry the spirit of the Olympiad 1976 and can be still met by time to time. The STM is a safe and reliable mean of transportation, I enjoyed every second on the trains.
