In this presentation, Jessica Blanchard, Founder of 229 Safer Living Access, Inc., shares the story of using harm reduction techniques to reestablish the relationship with her daughter. The conversation is hosted by Dr. Alex Elswick, Voices of Hope Co-Founder and Assistant Professor and Extension Specialist for Substance Use Prevention and Recovery at the University of Kentucky, who also shares about his discovery of harm reduction principles. Later, Alex’s mom, Shelley Elswick, CEO and President of Voices of Hope, joins the discussion to share how their family came to embrace the harm reduction approach.
