Walshe Couple's Friend Recalls Final Gathering Before Alleged Murder

A friend of Brian and Ana Walshe testified in Brian's murder trial in Massachusetts today (Wednesday, December 10, day 8) about spending time with the couple on New Year's Eve and a phone conversation he had with Ana on Dec. 29, 2022, in which she said she was having problems with Brian. Prosecutors allege Brian murdered Ana, then disposed of her body and lied to police. Brian admits disposing of her body and lying to police, but he says he didn't kill Ana and instead found her dead unexpectedly in their bed on New Year's Day. Gem Mutlu is one of the last people to see Ana alive. Before he testified before the jury, Judge Diane Cabo Freniere in Norfolk County Superior Court heard voir dire testimony outside the jury's presence as she decided what exactly Mutlu could testify about before the jury.
