Stories of London: Journeys | Hackney Museum

In July 2010 five pupils from Hackney Free and Parochial School worked with a film production company to script, film, and edit this film exploring the theme of journeys. Filmed in Hackney and Central London, the film presents a unique view of their personal journeys and the changes in Hackney in the run up to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This film is part of the project “Mapping the Change”. In 2012 Hackney was one of five London boroughs to host the Olympic and Paralympic Games. This put the borough at the forefront of momentous changes. Hackney Museum and Hackney Archives recorded how changes affected the lives of local people, creating a lasting legacy for future generations. Produced by Mouth that Roars.
