Story Based Rotation Activities - Grade R

Mrs Ada Brown from Littlewood Primary School teaches a Grade R lesson on story based rotation activities. This is a rotation activity for Spot Goes to the Shop. The lesson starts off with a greeting then it is followed by the class singing Sam and Zinzi goes to the shop song. After the song they rhyme to ‘Eyes to See’ this is followed by one of the learners reading a story using the big book. The objective of the rotation activities is to give the students an opportunity to practice the vocabulary and the language that they learnt in week one. Rotation activities are important in learning as it allows the teacher to see if the students can apply the knowledge and skills that they have been taught. ( UKU110 )
