Nothing like installing an autopilot from about 10 years ago and still know that it still has some life in it. Not too surprising that it still has a great reliable function as long as the stability is set for flying in a straight course. Return to home and loiter functions still work as soon as there is a suitable gps lock and when i tested loiter, it looked like it was establishing the altitude and varied the throttle as it should, just that when it started the turn it was over the houses that we try to avoid, so testing will take place in a larger area and hopefully recycle the old lipos and replace with new ones as it appears to be an annual cycle. The Turnigy 60 amp esc that i had used previously seems to have developed an issue and swapped it out with the Castle Creations HV 60 amp but need to keep it about 4s due to the FT current sensor, no worries, plenty of thrust with this 2815 1700 kv motor with a 7x6 apc prop. See where ill take this one out to since i have faith itll return back in case of faulty video if ever.
