Hockey culture is evolving, pushed forward by the renewed scrutiny on how the sport handles harm and accountability, but also by the people forging a new way forward. In Line Change: Picking up the Gloves, changemakers across the sport share how they’re working to build a healthier hockey culture, alongside the testimony of a sexual abuse survivor whose experience underscores why these shifts matter. The short documentary was produced by Centennial College journalism third-year students, with the intention of bringing light to crucial issues in Canada’s favourite winter sport and the people working to address them.
