This worry made him ill. Zhuge Liang visited Zhou Yu under the guise of checking on his illness and offered a plan, claiming he could summon the eastern wind through a ritual on Nanping Mountain. Zhou Yu, increasingly jealous of Zhuge Liang’s talents, sent Ding Feng and Xu Sheng to assassinate him when the wind arose.
