I made a variable aperture lens using old Junk that I found at the thrift store. Initially I was going to use a tortured point and shoot camera for my donor lens but things went sideways fast! The resulted lens is fortified by Duct tape and supported by 3d printing and vintage equipment from probably the 70s or something.... At the end of the day it takes very interesting photos and videos and the bokeh is like nothing I've created before. So check it out and let me know in the comments what you think!! This is part DIY camera build, part lens experiment, and part reminder that photography gear doesn’t always have to be expensive to be interesting.
