The Nagasaki Electric Tramway is the tram network of Nagasaki, Japan, with a network of three full time routes (1, 3, 5) and a part time route (4). It is the only tramway operator that makes a profit in Japan, and also holds the distinction of having lost none of its original lines. Most of the network runs along streets, with a significant chunk of its main line running on a dedicated right of way adjacent to the JR Kyushu Nagasaki Main Line. There are several other notable sections of dedicated right of way. The network runs with a varied fleet, ranging from older high floor trams to newer low floor articulated models.
