The I - vi -ii - V - progression is very common in jazz music, but there are also a lot of songs in pop and rock that are built upon these four chords: Bruce Springsteen - Hungry Heart, Frank Zappa - Bobby Brown, Elvis Presley - Return To Sender, The Pretenders - Don't Get Me Wrong, The Arctic Monkeys - Fluorescent Adolescent and many more. In this exercise we take this chord progression through all twelve keys using different arpeggio shapes to keep the transitions between chords smooth and fluent. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ If you want to download the lesson sheet and the backing tracks to this exercise you can become a member of my PATREON page for $5/month.
