I want to share how we spent the weekend in a beautiful and atmospheric place. It was the month of September, and we decided to explore new places in the north of Portugal. First, I chose this place because of the warm pool inside and the semi-outdoor pool outside. It was the first time I tried sandboarding, it was difficult at first, but it was worth it to float on the river in privacy. And it's all included in the room rate. The hotel is surrounded by a large green area. If you want you can dip in the crystal clear cold river :). The hotel has a full kitchen, as well as you can include tomorrow's lunch and dinner for a fee. I want to emphasise on breakfasts, that you choose the time when you plan and the staff ensures that there are minimum people around you. The breakfasts are delicious. We had only breakfast. But as we wanted restaurant meals we started to look for places nearby. We came across a restaurant 7 minutes away. run by a nice grandfather. We really liked the food and in such places usually cheaper at times. It was 30€ for two people, instead of 60-70€ in the Algarve. I wish you new journeys.
