Russian Troops Captures Key Town as Zelensky Raises Alarm

Russian troops have gained a foothold in the strategically important town of Pokrovsk, President Zelensky has said, but denied Moscow’s claims that Kyiv’s forces had been encircled. Zelensky said that Russia had eight times as many troops as Ukraine in the battle for Pokrovsk, a key supply and transport hub in eastern Ukraine’s Donetsk region.
