Wellness North Counselling Clinic director Aditi Jasra (www.wellnessnorth.ca) and registered clinical counsellor explain the difference between often confused terms of psychologist, psychiatrist and registered clinical counsellor (RCC) here in British Columbia, Canada. Aditi is not only registered with BCACC, she is also member and certified by CCPA (Canadian Counselling and psychotherapy association) and is a CCC (Canadian certified counsellor). It’s a long and arduous process to get certified by these bodies and these accreditations are given to highly qualified, skilled and master level clinicians. Our team here in lower mainland provides psychotherapy services to wide variety of clientele. We are a trauma informed, anti-oppressive, multilingual team of female clinicians. Some of us are registered social workers.
