This cover is based off of Jenna's Version, aka the version on the album. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the single, I think the production waters down the emotional tenderness of the lyrics. But Jenna's Version? wowowowowowowowowoWOW! I think it's the most beautiful love song they've put out. I've loved it since they played it live a couple weeks ago, and I'm so happy the stripped back version made the album. Maybe I'm just privy to Tyler in a raw setting (I do love Truce and Heathens / Trees from the Livestream), but I really do think this is one of the best tracks from the album. Speaking of Clancy, I went to one of the listening parties, and I freakin love it. It's a great project, and I'm planning to do some more covers from it. Let me know what you want to see down below!
