SEIKO Melodies in Motion QXM285GRH "Lafayette" Selection B (Christmas Gen II) | PRSV #65.2

Recommended using earphone/headphone/earset/TWS, etc. Released in 2013, as the spiritual successor of both QXM239SRH (2009) and QXM267BRH (2010) and succeeded by QXM383BRH in 2020, the clock is part of Seiko's flagship Open-Dial Series. This is also the international version of the USA-exclusive QXM482GRH Lafayette as well, with a different Selection A. The clock itself resembles the night-life scape of a metropolitan city with tens of stars inside the clock with a mix of blue and black combination hue. At the top of the clock, lies Seiko's serial patent melody clock tagline "Melodies In Motion" Every hour on the hour, the clock plays 1 of 6 Hi-Fi melodies each selection (contains 2 melody selections), totaling 12 melodies, accompanied by 20 colorful sparkling LED-lights synchronized with the melody. The first selection is Classical Melodies, and the second selection is SEIKO's rare second-generation non-16 chord Hi-Fi Christmas Melodies, only seen very few times in the Seiko MIM lineup. On the JDM version of this clock, it's known as Wave Symphony Series of RE561S & RE561H, was released to the public, in 2006 and 2009, respectively, with the latter still available to purchase until now with a different styling and different selection of melodies. In International Market, QXM285GRH consists of QXM239SRH (2009, on stock), QXM267BRH (2010, discontinued), and QXM383BRH (2020, new). Credit to Nawal for the editing effort!
