Today's video is a sobering tour of Senegal's Ile de Goree, an island not far away from the Senegalese capital of Dakar. From here millions of people were sent to the New World as slaves, and sadly millions died before even making the trip thanks to the hideous conditions they were forced to endure imprisoned before being sent. I take a ferry from Dakar to get to the island, as does everyone who visits, and find my guide Mohammed who shows me around the island. We visit the House of Slaves and learn about the island's history.
