Pride is a weird thing. On the surface, it looks like confidence… but underneath, it can turn into something darker before we even notice. In this video, I talk about how pride can slowly creep into your life — in your relationships, in your friendships, in the way you see yourself and how it can blind you to the truth you don’t want to face. I’m not preaching. I’m reflecting. On mistakes I’ve made. On times I thought I was “right” when really, I was just scared to admit I was wrong. Times I hurt people because my ego stepped in front of my heart. Times I confused being strong with never apologizing. Pride convinces you that you don’t need help. That you don’t need to change. That everyone else is the problem. And by the time you realize it… you’ve already damaged things that actually mattered. This video is for anyone who’s learning, like me, to swallow their pride to say “I was wrong,” to listen more, to grow, and to actually protect the people and blessings in your life… instead of pushing them away.
