Annual event happening Second Life ™ ... the 2026 edition of the "Hug and Dunk a Linden" event for Valentines Day, regular on February 14th. Read more about the this years event here ... at "show more". This was nod the 2nd V-Day event, but today on the 14th. It was less people there, as it was the weekend, so the little change with the extra even on the Friday seems to worked out. Also there was (partial) a different crowd of Lindens to see - don't forget, it is work for them and weekends is a family time. But some was also on both days there. I was a bit in trouble, as for me it was a party day in SL in my club. But with a good team, you not have to be at 2 spots same time. Also today I was "early enough" there. As I was the whole driving part recording yesterday, for today I was more focus on taking pictures. Here some of the steps: 0:00 going to the start to the "Valentines Day Ride" (now Feb. 14th) 0:18 today there was some more delays, but also less people waiting 1:02 started, but not got that far 1:42 balloon accidents ... fooling a bit around 2:14 last train for this season 3:08 today no lost trolley 4:26 tunnels 4:42 Today-Joined Newcommer ... and nearly 19y resident on the same Trolley 5:29 nearly derailed again 4:40 finish station 5:51 Isle of View ... Meet & Greet ... or Hug & Dunk 6:01 Hugging with Star Moel 6:11 not stealing the crown, Mel ... 6:55 flight over the whole "Isle of View" 7:07 Something new for this year: "Speed Dating" 7:31 mixing new 8:04 "classic" Wendi ... she takes nice pictures while the hugging I was say "Time to bring Wendi in trouble" as I came to her and one of the Moles was a bit shocked ... ... so far I was only to "lazy" (or found no reason to do it) to change my "Club Title" to somewhat ... more "tame". At the first years of this event, I was stay more in the distance to the ... or some ... Lindens (ok, mainly Patch, as he was for a while "kinda leading" all the stuff). I was fear a bit, my near presence could be bad for their reputation. With Oatmeal Linden or Star or Dion Mole, for example, I was less shy. At least I running for around 18 years an adult club in SL. But anyway ... to say it blunt: Nobody cares or "Give a F..." about. PS: With Patch I was was got in a chat on the SLB ... he is also pretty easy to talk with, but have sadly less time ... ... so them are also "just normal people", nothing to fear. 8:46 gift corner 9:12 Like it?
