"Hello and welcome! Today, I'll show you how to make 'Soğuk Baklava,' the most loved Turkish dessert during the summer. You can follow the steps below to prepare this refreshing treat: Step 1: Ingredients Yufka (preferably baklava pastry sheets) Butter (melted) Pistachios (crushed) For the syrup: Water Sugar Lemon juice Step 2: Preparing the Syrup In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Place the mixture over medium heat and let it come to a boil. Then, add lemon juice. Boil the syrup for about 10 minutes, then remove it from the heat. Let the syrup cool. Step 3: Preparing the Baklava Lay the baklava pastry sheet on a flat surface. Brush melted butter over it. Fold the pastry sheet in half and brush it with butter again. Fold the pastry sheet again and start rolling it from one end to create a roll. Shape the roll into a round shape and place it in a baklava tray. Prepare the remaining pastry sheets in the same manner and arrange them in the tray. Brush the remaining melted butter over the pastry rolls. Sprinkle crushed pistachios over the top. Step 4: Baking Bake the baklava in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius until it turns golden brown. Once baked, allow it to cool for a while. Step 5: Pouring the Syrup While the baklava is still warm, pour the cooled syrup over it. Let the baklava sit for a while to allow the syrup to soak in. Step 6: Serving Slice the cold baklava and serve. Optionally, you can sprinkle some crushed pistachios on top. And that's it! Your homemade, refreshing, and delicious 'Soğuk Baklava' is ready.
