I ended up watching 'Harriet' on Netflix. Perfect timing since we're in Black History Month. I need to talk about Harriet Tubman's story because this woman was built different. 🎯 What's in this vlog: Morning bread run, watching 'Harriet' on Netflix, the real story of Harriet Tubman and why she's called "Moses" Here's what got me: Harriet Tubman escaped slavery in 1849, made it to freedom in Philadelphia... and then went BACK. Not once, but 13 times. She rescued about 70 people including her own family, and she said she "never lost a passenger." Think about that - traveling at night, risking her life over and over, and never losing a single person. She survived a traumatic head injury as a child that caused her pain and visions her whole life, yet she became a spy for the Union Army and led the first armed military operation by a woman in US history - freeing over 700 enslaved people in one mission. After all that, she still fought for women's right to vote. That level of courage and sacrifice? That's real strength. We're in Black History Month and this story reminded me what true bravery looks like. Drop a comment if you've seen the movie or know her story. We need to keep talking about this. #Netflix #DailyVlog #malickseyes #BlackHistoryMonth #HarrietTubman #Harriet #Day3 #StudentLife #DayInMyLife #History #Inspiration #UndergroundRailroad #BlackHistory #MovieReview #RealStory #Motivation #StudentVlog #Vlog #LifeLessons #StudyAbroad #Vlogs2025
