I am SHADOWBARD. Welcome to the world of Throne of Glass. I am a huge fan of symphonic metal — my favorite genre of all time. The fusion of heavy music with the grandeur of orchestral arrangements, choirs, and cinematic soundtracks made me truly believe in the power of music. And the Throne of Glass book series… Well, let’s just say my life was one thing before I read it — and something else entirely after. Now that we, music lovers, have the tools to create our own music, I thought: why not bring this world to life through sound? This project is born from the fusion of symphonic metal and epic fantasy, inspired by the incredible universe of Throne of Glass. Each song represents a fragment of a greater story, told through ancient choirs, cinematic soundscapes, and narrative-driven lyrics. I made three songs for each book of the saga (except The Assassin’s Blade and Tower of Dawn).
