They found that seizure-free days remained consistently high during the open-label extension, regardless of other medications. Even patients who had failed multiple antiseizure medications before the trial experienced significant improvements in seizure-free days. Cenobamate effectively reduces the daily burden of seizures in these patients, improving their quality of life.
