Bull$hit. Battlefield 6 examples of where you can't really see the enemy's player model but you can clearly see that 3D icon above their head. Are we supposed to be looking for soldiers or their profile on the battlefield or 3D icons because with each new Battlefield game it seems like player models are optional and unnecessary for the game. If the graphical effects that sometimes occlude are client side then they shouldn't be otherwise it's built-in unbalanced game design. I know I've made a bunch of these videos before and in past video games but I felt like I still needed to do one after the game's launch to show how it's still bad and in the hopes that someone at one of the multiple studios under BF Studios might actually try to fix this by removing 3D spotting of infantry because there is no way they can actually “fix” it with all the effects in the game. Also they already have the SOVIS Filter for player model visibility if they are relying on 3D spotting because they keep adding graphical effects that make it so you can't even see the player model, that is just bad game design especially when the game doesn't tell you when you are spotted. Yes reticle or healthbar spotting has been in the Battlefield franchise since Battlefield 1942 but that had way more limits and really only ruined moments when players were hiding in a bush and you accidently reticle spotted them while running by. If they removed 3D spotting of infantry then maybe they can spend more time improving the big map and mini-map and making 2D spotting better. Like why the 3D buildings in a top down mini-map that just makes it harder to tell where a player is when they are 2D spotted.
