Rest Easy, Willow ❤️ 6/15/20- 8/13/25 Yesterday, I had to make one of the hardest decisions of my life. That morning, Willow was breathing heavily from her chest, seemed weaker, and refused to eat. Just days earlier, at her Tuesday vet checkup, she was doing okay. She was diagnosed with heart failure on August 7th—something she likely had for around six months. It wasn’t fair to let her suffer any longer, and we all agreed that the kindest choice was to let her go. I made a video sharing my experience with her, which will be the last one posted of her besides her tribute. It will explain a lot and I don’t feel like typing that all up. I’m heartbroken to lose her less than a year after saying goodbye to Angel. My covid baby is now with her first cage mate and the cage mate she didn’t like. I hope Heaven is treating you okay so far. I love you so much, Willow and you will always be my spunky, hammock loving, abyssinian who didn’t like to be held.
