Many families and pets can be seen throughout the year enjoying the day, sunrise to sunset, along this stretch of road off Manatee Ave/State Road 64 in Bradenton. Beach areas are located for a 2-mile stretch on both the North and South sides of the road. Activities such as the horse vendors and kayak tours are stationed on the north side of the road. It is important to note, the "park" is located along busy Manatee Ave / State Road 64 often backed up on weekends with cars heading across to the beaches of Anna Maria Island, Holmes Beach, Longboat Key and St. Armands Circle. As always, careful monitoring of your pet is essential for safety purposes! This is "not" an off-leash friendly area.
