🚨 Strange Multi‑County Pursuit Ends in Patrol Car Being Totaled — Missouri (Sept. 16, 2024) A routine morning patrol on I‑44 turned into a strange, multi‑agency pursuit after a green Ford F‑250 thought a Bourbon Police officer was attempting to pull him over. In fact, the officer was attempting to pull over the car in front of the truck, but the truck's driver — later identified as 29‑year‑old Jacob Pitucha — accelerated to 95+ mph, drawing the officer's attention. Pitucha weaved between lanes and repeatedly endangered other drivers as he fled toward Cuba and St. James, Missouri. The chase escalated when Pitucha launched the truck through the median, went airborne, and struck a highway exit sign before continuing to flee. Officers reported the truck driving through residential yards, hitting mailboxes, and even attempting to run a tractor‑trailer off the road. As the pursuit entered Maries County, Missouri State Highway Patrol and Maries County deputies deployed spike strips. Pitucha swerved toward a trooper, nearly hitting him, then attempted to evade the spikes again at the Gasconade River Bridge. This time, he intentionally rammed Deputy Roberts’ patrol vehicle, totaling both vehicles and placing the deputy at serious risk. The impact ripped the left front wheel off the F‑250, finally disabling the truck. Pitucha was taken into custody without further incident and transported to the Maries County Jail after medical evaluation. 0:00 Intro 1:50 Truck fails to yield 12:30 Off-road and off the highway 17:24 MSHP joins the pursuit 27:25 Spike strips set up 35:15 Spike strips missed and trooper almost hit 45:19 Collision finally ends pursuit 50:18 Conclusion Charges & Citations: 🚔 Resisting Arrest by Fleeing — Creating Risk of Serious Injury/Death 🚔 Assault 1st Degree – Special Victim (Law Enforcement) 🚔 Property Damage 1st Degree 🚔 Driving While Revoked/Suspended 📝 Citations: Careless & Imprudent Driving, Failure to Register, No Insurance, Failed to Drive on Right Half of Roadway Key Details: 📍 Bourbon → Cuba → St. James → Maries County, Missouri 📅 September 16, 2024 💥 Patrol vehicle totaled after intentional ramming 🚨 Multiple agencies involved: Bourbon PD, Cuba PD, St. James PD, Phelps County SO, MSHP, Maries County SO 🛞 Pursuit ended after suspect’s truck lost a wheel Sentencing information at the end of the video.
