Nitin Chandrakant Desai a noted Indian art director and production designer of Indian cinema visited Belagavi on Tuesday and he has been given the job of building an Aviation museum along with an Art museum in Belagavi. Desai categorically said that none of the trees will be cut and all trees will be used in such a way that they become a part of the project itself. Abhay Patil MLA South had envisaged this idea of an Aviation museum in town under the smart city project. He then contacted Nitin Desai who has a special love for Belagavi.
