Keshav Laxman Ginde is a well-renowned Indian Classical Flutist, a senior musicologist, researcher, developer as well as innovator. He was born in a musical family in Belgaum, Karnataka (India) on 5th September 1942. He researched and invented the 'Keshav Venu' flute which has a range of 4 octaves and has surpassed the limitations of all extant flutes. He revolutionized the Indian Bamboo Flute by inventing Keshav Venu. Not only does it have the capacity to fulfill all the musical needs, and aesthetics of a musician but also it has dispensed the need for using 3 flutes which were used earlier to achieve 4 octaves while playing. Instead of 3 flutes which creates many drawbacks, a flutist who can achieve all the musical qualities from a single flute is "Keshav Venu".
