I Bought the Sony FX30 XLR Top Handle, and It's Terrible.

In this video, I'm sharing my experience with the Sony FX30 XLR Audio Handle (XLR-H1). I was really excited to use it, but I was really disappointed with the build and the audio quality. I think most people would be better off with a stand alone XLR audio recorder, like the zoom F3, which will give you better, and more reliable results, with 32 bit float audio recoding. The Zoom F3 has a much lower noise floor, due to it's higher quality preamps, so you don't get that hissing noise in your recording.
