Right now, I'm working on importing ibgib spaces on the ionic web front end (i.e. not android/ios). So if I have a space previously created and it is living in IndexedDB, I should be able to "import" it, which simply means in this case, that we're adding a reference to the space in the bootstrap^gib.json. ...that's what I WAS going to go through. What I ACTUALLY go through in this video is some of the architecture of the app, including an introduction to the current local space (using Ionic/Capacitor Filesystem Plugin), the outerspace currently implemented (AWS DynamoDB + S3) for synchronization & the bootstrap ibgib which points to what local space we're using when the app starts. I also go back over a bit of what an ibgib is (WRT the codebase), as well as a tiny foray into the abstract base classes witnesses (ibgibs with behavior not just data). Are you actually watching this? For any particular reason? Comments on this DLT approach? Questions? Ideas on YT things like intros and taglines? Let me know in the comments! About ibgib: This is an ibgib video, about some aspect related to ibgib technologies. In short, ibgib is a web3 metaverse protocol that I've been developing for 20+ years. OK, it's more of my obsession. Instead of assuming a single-source of truth, I've tried to instill humility in its foundations. So even though we are using cryptographic principles, we never assume what our data shows is The Truth or Knowledge. Rather, living logic can best be represented by Beliefs and their evolution over time. Inevitably, this approach leads not only to sovereign, distributed data, but also to some degree of sovereign AIs. This is our approach to metaprogramming.
