$369 Cheap Chinese Superteam 50mm Carbon Wheels 1500km Review // Pros, Cons, and Is It Worth Buying?

Prominently found on the front pages of eBay, AliExpress, and Amazon, the Superteam brand certainly has presence. At $369 at the time of writing, can these wheels stack up to $2,000+ wheelset offerings from Zipp, Enve, Mavic, Reynolds, Rovals and other leading names? I have tested the Superteam 50mm Clincher Rim Brake wheels and benchmarked them against a set of Mavic Ksyrium clinchers. This offers a strong starting point for where most riders would be upgrading from. The Superteams are paired with Bontrager R3 Tires and Bontrager's 80mm butyl tubes for a neutral setup. They have gone through all sorts of conditions throughout the 1500km (and ongoing) usage of the wheelset on a 2015 Ridley Fenix SL road bike.
