Figure 8 Fun! Acrylic Ribbon Pour - Easy Fluid Art Painting Techniques

I've tried ribbon pours many times before but have never tried pouring the paint in a figure 8 pattern. I think next time I'll cover the entire canvas in the base coat paint so I don't tilt too much of the design off. Make sure your paints are relatively thick and opaque (or at least semi-transparent), otherwise when layered, the colors below will show through the transparent layers on the top. Please let me know by leaving a comment below. TIME STAMPS PAINT MIXTURES I'm using Artist's Loft Soft Body Acrylic Paint for this video. White: about 2 parts paint, 1 part water. Almost all the Colors (Custom mixed): about 2 parts paint, 1 part floetrol, 1 part water. The base paint for the second painting was recycled from a previous acrylic pour. For best results, all paint mixtures should have the same viscosity and no bubbles.
